More than 10 years of experience managing one of the world’s great paper-based collections documenting film history. As Director of Special Collections at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Library my job is to preserve and protect more than 2,500 archival collections so they can be enjoyed by present/future generations, manage the processing to make them available for research use, and excite and inspire others to appreciate and use original source materials documenting film history.I report to the EVP of collections, serve as a member of the Library management team, and represent Special Collections with the Academy Museum, Digital Management Services, and more.Interviewee, “Conversations with the Archives,” interviewed by Dr. Elizabeth Castaldo Lundén for the Media Archives Committee, Society for Cinema and Media Studies (SCMS), 2024Filmed interview, “A.P.
