My father was a golf professional at the Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver. I finished high school at Thomas Jefferson high before attending Arizona University. I married my high school sweetheart before we relocated to Scottsdale, AZ. (We have been together for over fifty years!) I became a golf professional at the Camelback Inn Golf Club during college, the Paradise Valley Country Club. It was highly exclusive. From there, I went to Palm Springs to join the Sunrise Company. I began as their Director of Golf. My main priority was to move merchandise. Within a year, I was running two separate club locations. Soon after, we opened another club location. I inspire others through encouragement and clear directions. I believe in positive reinforcement. If I see someone struggle, I help them figure out the best solution. We brainstorm together, and I'll walk them through the thought process to problem-solve alone for any future encounters. I lead by example to deliver consistent outcomes. As a people person, I love interactions that foster and cultivate robust relationships. I would like to see opportunities for various careers offered in schools focused on trade skills that create value and enrichment in the lives of those learning the skills. President, CeoPine Canyon Club Dec 2005 - Dec 2013With a proven history of viable accomplishments, I focus on supporting my teams to work to be their best.══ THOROUGH ══ I developed, led, and coordinated the operational elements of the day-to-day operations, rental program, and vacation rental management team to provide a first-class resort experience for the guests. I enjoyed the ability to assemble teams that oversaw infrastructure, home construction, Country Club Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams. I arrived when the Club was new to oversee all operations as their Chief Operating Officer (COO). Once new phases were open and infrastructure completed, our Clubhouse and Pool with children’s section and snack bar were next. I managed the construction of the Clubhouse, Camp Pine Canyon, Kid’s Clubhouse and food outlet, and a junior Olympic pool complete with a water slide.
