Established in 1995 Tender Loving Cuisine Australia Pty Ltd (TLC) pioneered the home delivery of healthy, nutritious, frozen meals - predominantly for seniors and people with disabilities living independently.TLC partners with registered aged care providers in the government funded Home Care Package (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and NDIS programmes. It operates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra (plus other eastern seaboard communities). Delivery schedule proudly maintained during the pandemic.

Approx. 400 tutors provided one-on-one at home tutoring. It matched students and tutors across primary, secondary and tertiary syllabi and assisted thousands of students. In 2012, Crossroads grew through acquisition.

Managed the financial operations of the FSA (JV CSIRO and DPIV) and planned and oversaw FSA’s re-integration into CSIRO, including transition to the SAP platform. CSIRO operates under an Organisational Design Principles (ODP or Matrix) environment.

Oversaw the finance team and the maintenance and production of financial and management reporting and budgeting for internal stakeholders, US parent company stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Successfully designed a project plan to upgrade key financial systems, which involved liaising with the vendor and internal stakeholders (IT, compliance, risk assessment and finance) to ensure BAU continuity. Prepared and reviewed data migration, testing, training, UAT and implementation plans.

Led a project to address inconsistent data sources, calculations and methodologies to allow future consistent treatment under a data warehouse environment. This involved analysing and preparing Value Driver Trees for one Business Line and a matrix of reporting inconsistencies across statutory entities through business line monthly reports as a pilot for project scoping.

Re-engineered the processing of financial performance data from Oracle through Hyperion consolidation to Group reporting and financial statements, resulting in reduced operational and process risk and improved compliance.

As Chief Financial Officer, I oversaw and coordinated the production and audit signoff on several years’ accounts by addressing major items raised by auditors.

Statutory and ASX reporting and compliance, advice to Board on legal, tax and accounting developments, investor relations, external relationships, strategic development and project assessment.
