In my role as Sales Manager I am responsible for our ambitious and driven sales team. Together we look after over 350 annual spending accounts within the Lancashire, Yorkshire, Gtr Manchester and Merseyside areas. We sell Electrical Wholesale, Contracting & Systems to an Industrial customer base with focus on providing a one stop solution to the end consumer.I am a tremendously focused individual who take great pleasure from succeeding from even the smallest opportunity.My duties Include• Developing business plans and sales strategies for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability. • Taking responsibility for the performance and development of the Area Sales Managers and Telephone Sales Coordinators. • I preparing action plans both as an individual and as part of my team for effective search of sales leads and prospects. • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. • Conducting one-on-one reviews with all Sales Executives in order to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of personnel sales and activity performance. • Provide timely feedback to company directors regarding performance. • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. • Maintaining accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales personnel. • Assisting Sales Personnel in preparation of proposals and presentations. • Controlling department overhead & expenses to meet budget guidelines. • Adhereing to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. • Recruitment, testing, and hiring Sales Executives based on criteria agreed upon by our management team.

For 3 ½ years I managed a thriving warehouse facility that operates within the arts and craft market. I was part of a vibrant & successful sales team in which I looked after our field sales agents and provided them with information in regards to new Products, promotions and objectives as well as keeping them updated with stock availability and customer feedback. I was also responsible for all aspects of the warehouse environment – e.g. - staffing levels, discipline, appraisals, stock control, health and safety, in house training & providing feedback to the company directors. I am also computer literate & familiar with Global operating systems.
