During my time at First Memorial Funeral Services, I was an assistant who transfers the decedent(s) to the funeral home in order to prepare to be embalmed, as well as obtain burial permits and then register the death(s) at City Hall. I also helped in the Prep Room by helping dress the bodies, "casket the deceased" - in order to prepare them for their viewing - and set up the Visitation Room to the family's preference. (as well as clean/reorganize the room itself after the viewing) By doing these jobs, I've talked to many families - assuring them that my co-workers at the funeral home will help them in every possible way along this time in their life. Lastly, I would bring the deceased(s) to the Crematorium - assuming cremation was the family's choice.Outside of the "funeral" side of work, I also swept outside and around the funeral home (every morning), washed/put gas in the Lead Vehicle(s), the Limo, the Hearse, and the Removal Vehicle(s). I also cleaned around the interior of the funeral home, including (but not limited to) windows and vacuuming/mopping the (entire) funeral home - including mats, carpets, and floors.

The main job I had with Eastern Ontario Removal Services is to transfer the deceased to the funeral home that the family has chosen, as well as obtain burial permits and then register the death(s) at City Hall. By doing so, I've talked to many families - assuring them that my co-workers at the funeral home(s) will help them in every possible way along this time in their life. I also bring the deceased(s) to the Crematorium - assuming cremation was the family's choice.

Another job I had was to bring the deceased(s) to the Crematorium - assuming cremation was the family's choice. (therefore, I helped with the processing and packaging of cremated remains)
