Acquired as an IT Manager to perform the many duties of Technology Owner for the flagship insurance agency management system, Epic. Since then, I have grown my role to encompass a widespread set of areas within IT and a very large number of applications and users. Responsible for team of system analysts and indirect reports. I am now Technology Owner for over 200 third-party vendor applications, housed within our own data center and vendor-hosted cloud implementations, totaling over 6,000 concurrent users and are used throughout the United States. Managed up to eight .NET developers responsible for numerous product installs, automated builds and unit tests, automated push updates via internet, internal distribution of new versions. • Developed company’s first daily and on-demand build process of source code for all products. • Created and maintained the organization’s proactive monitoring tools for hosted environments ensuring 99.9% up-time and customer self service.

Supervised up to nine developers and outside consultants with concentration on the removal of defects from the Epic product during its infancy stages. • Created an innovative and repeatable way to troubleshoot, repair and eliminate defects in many areas of the product. • Eliminated 2,000 defects within year and half and positioned the product for public consumption. • Oversaw defect tracking, testing and regression testing efforts.

Led up to seven developers and created and maintained software products including company CRM, company accounting systems, company asset inventory, company support call tracking system and externally facing company internet websites. • Managed team and developed company intranet, as well as documentation for employee expense reporting, time off, evaluations, travel requests, requisitions, sales commissions and several integration points of third party software vendors. • Devised organization’s first software product download website, eliminating need for company to generate distribution CD's of all products.
