Optalert is an innovative MedTech company and leader in the field of drowsiness and fatigue detection and monitoring with clients spanning across a diverse range of industries including mining, gas and oil, road transport, automotive, scientific research and neurological research. As the Account Manager, I am responsible for managing a global client portfolio, developing and implementing business strategies focused on sales generation, client acquisition and retention and strong portfolio management. Building strong client relationships, I managed the CRM pipeline, driving income sales opportunities, overseeing the delivery and implementation client projects, managing client health and safety inductions and facilitate client training for both hardware and software. Whilst in this position I substantially grew the Australia market share, including managing the most profitable client account.

As Implementations & Customer Support Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the global rollout of Optalert systems which includes hardware installation, education and training, data management and recuring SaaS subscriptions. I provided a high level of client support to a global client base, providing product advice and troubleshooting issues. Whilst in this role, I spearheaded the development of the Optalert glasses and prescription lens adapter which involved using my extensive optical experience to fineness the new wearable technology.

Self-employed:Optical Dispensers interpret prescriptions to provide advice on spectacle frames, lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses & safety eyewear. With rapidly changing eyewear technology, fashion trends, and an ageing population, Optical Dispensers are needed to meet the demands of this growing industry.
