Healthcare Systems Consulting

The Chief Operating Officer leads and manages the organization’s comprehensive array of healthcare services for individuals with complex behavioral health needs. The COO will directly supervise the service sector Vice Presidents, including the Vice President of Programs, Healthcare Services, Mental Health, and Community Reentry and develop systems to hold others accountable. The COO will oversee more than 21 service sites throughout California, and provide strategic oversight and direction to more than 400 staff.

Lead the development and execution of strategies to position ACMC for long-term success in a reformed healthcare environment. Oversee the development of all key system strategies designed to advance new business and clinical initiatives. Assume responsibility for strategy development and execution with respect to: market positioning and branding, legislative advocacy and health policy positioning, serviceline positioning (integration, expansion, and rescission), and system integration.Serve as liaison to board of trustees’ committee chairs and ensure active dialogue with external stakeholders including Alameda County Board of Supervisors and their administrative leadership.Support all grant sourcing and application processes for federal and state grants.Improve the integration of new programs including medical staff initiatives to improve clinical service line performance.
