Creative Director
CurrentBlake Jarrett & Company specializes in the creation of retail experiences through the design and manufacture of high quality retail environments and displays. As Creative Director, I am responsible for leading the studio in creating industry-leading retail environments, displays and retail products for clients such as Samsung, Coca Cola, OLG, Cineplex, Home Depot and Labatt.- Working directly with clients to understand their needs, develop insight-driven design strategies and help them take projects from creative pitch through to final production.- Lead a studio of 7+ designers, fostering a collaborative team environment and providing direction on graphic and industrial design to engineering and manufacturing.- Overseeing day to day operations of the design department, including project scheduling, staff and resource management, employee development, managing billable hours and department reporting.- Executing conceptual design, engineering and production drawings for key accounts.- Member of the senior leadership team responsible for planning and strategy.
