As a child of Chinese immigrants who fled economic turmoil, I strongly hold the belief that the only possession one can truly keep is what's already in the mind: knowledge.The knowledge I possess today was not only accumulated through years of schooling and work experience but also through the unique journey that I shared - and still share today - with my parents in pursuit of the American Dream.I acquired a strong work ethic early on at the age of 4 as I stocked the shelves of my father's grocery store. By 13, I had begun developing signs of business intuition spending summer breaks with my mother in sales. By 18, I learned to fully embrace responsibility when my parents' basic English proved inadequate in the world of complex business negotiation and litigation. Among the countless lessons imparted upon me throughout this journey, the most crucial was one only made evident in hindsight: that knowledge truly is power, a power that can provide even a descendant of impoverished immigrants a world of unlimited opportunity. That is why I treasure it. In the context of my career, I strive to apply myself and utilize the hard-earned lessons from both my experiences and the education that I am incredibly fortunate to have. I aspire to make my greatest strength the ability to learn anything quickly, and with it, the humility to keep learning more.
