Warrick's career has been brought up within the Power Utility Environment. He has worked and trained with all of Western Australia's Power Utilities and has established a very good network of knowledge, experience and relationships throughout Western Power, Horizon Power and Synergy.His area of specialty is in the Protection Testing and Commissioning fields ranging from small remote Distribution Networks to major Power Stations and Generator Protection and has extensive experience in all Substation equipment ranging from 440V up to 330kV.Since March 2018 Warrick has been sub-contracting to the Techwest Power team where he has been able to expand his experiences into Mining, Gas and Rail through working on sites for BHP, Lynas, Tianqi Lithium and Sydney’s North West Rail link. Warrick also continues to provide his vast Utility Protection knowledge to Horizon Power, Western Power and Synergy with many more exciting opportunities currently taking form.Key projects Warrick has been involved with include Stage 1 Greenough River Solar Farm, Stage C & D Muja Power Station Protection Upgrades, BHP Olympic Dam Reactive Power Project, BHP Nickel West Arc Flash retrofit projects, Tianqi Lithium 22kV Switchboard Commissioning, Horizon Powers Roebourne Substation replacement, Dampier and South West Creek substations RTU replacement, Esperance Power Project and ongoing Asset Replacement Projects as well as Protection Maintenance & Commissioning activities throughout all three of Western Australia’s Power Utilities.
