I serve as the Principal / Officer for several historic real estate development companies. Most recently with projects in the Hudson Valley, NY and in Kansas City, MO. Continuing as Managing Member to restore the Bendixen-Schmid Home, (Queen Anne style) in Springfield, MN. Founding Managing Member of FOHS LLC (the former Owatonna High School project and KHP, LLC (Kasson Historic Properties). Currently looking at projects in North Carolina and New York. Prior to that I was involved with Cenate Development Group, LLC and Executive and Artistic Director of the State Street Theatre Co., a not-for-profit theatre company in Minnesota. I am also a producer, director, writer, and performer. I enjoy working in the worlds of business development, real estate, summer camps, and entertainment. The international offices of my real estate companies were formerly in the historic seven story Masonic Temple Building in Grand Island, Nebraska. This was one of the many restoration projects undertaken by Grande Venues. Projects in Minnesota, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Kansas, Indiana, Oregon, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, an in England, Italy, and Jamaica.Specialties: My specialties are historic real estate development, business plan writing, feasibility studies, grants, hiring, contract negotiation, acquisition, mergers, mediation and litigation. Now I serve as "Chairman" of the Reunion Group (Big Chief). The magnificent opportunity allowed me to grow as a person, a teacher, mentor and as a creative individual. I taught drama, archery, swimming, and sailing. I also directed plays, musicals, pageants, rode horses in programs, arrived on jet ski, hang glider, hovercraft as Zeus for the "Camp Olympics." I learned from a truly gifted man and mentor, Manny Desnet, how to work with employees in an informal setting and how to develop successful programming for a summer camp.     Warshauer organized and named an LLC, purchased the former Middle School, and developed the business plan for 55 market rate apartment units in a historical context. Was an Equity Member/Governor and served as Project Manager/Development. He wrote the Business Plan. The investors included a cross section of local business leaders, attorneys, and citizens dedicated to preserving this amazing building. The 800 seat WPA built auditorium contains three significant murals. The property was subdivided into a residential parcel and a theatre parcel this making this a financially viable project. The theatre group, State Street Theater Co. owns the auditorium and manages three theatre spaces. As an initial tenant, it worked in concert with Independent School District 88 for shared spaces.

    Initially hired by the Board of Directors as a consultant with the title, "Interim Executive Director" of a theatre company in November, 2011 for six months.The NUACT Board rehired me and agreed to retain me as Executive and Artistic Director through August 2016. Although part time, I was fully engaged in strategic planning, venue identification, directing plays and murder mysteries, writing grants, conducting workshops (Directing in the Community Theatre), marketing, promotion, training of future producers/directors, and website improvement. I created a Cable TV show called, "Something Artsy" that features arts in Brown County, and a monthly Play Reading Society at the John Lind House in New Ulm.

    Mr. Warshauer served as the last Chairman and interim CEO for the Uptown Theatre and Centre for the Arts, NFP project. The magnificent 4000+ seat movie palace is situated on the north side of Chicago and was shuttered for over 25 years when a not for profit was "seeded" with $1,000,000 by Albert Goodman in 2002. After a two former CEOs failed to deliver the property and squandered significant sums of cash, Warshauer was asked to join the board. He stepped up and fired one of the last CEOs and worked day to day operations himself with the staff trying to rescue the doomed theatre project. Plagued by a board that failed to deliver high end donors as promised and a failure of the staff to produce a comprehensive business plan, Warshauer left the project. To date the theatre has not been renovated or restored.
