• Responsible managing the relationship to customers, the Shared service center (GSC) and the internal stakeholders.• Handle all escalating issues related to WCA (West-Central Asia) service for Maersk Line in Colombo, Furthermore handling customer visits and escalations due to insufficient payment behavior.• Build up a value proposition for granting credit (Financial procurement) and other customer related implementations, including e-payment processes.• Ensure timely handling of customer escalations or GSC escalation requests.• Be the first point of contact with Sales and Customers to drive improved working capital performance.• Responsible for due diligence and risk assessment processes for managing customer credit in line with corporate credit policies.• Contribute to the improvement of invoice management procedures.• Being an active stakeholder of the invoice quality improvement / process improvement with customers,• Interaction with 3rd party collection agencies for sticky collections with legal documentation.• Actively chase outstanding debts on regular basis.• Follow up on outstanding disputes and ensure resolution coordinating with relevant parties.• Ensuring required reporting is made available to the business supporting full transparency on all credit and receivables matters.• Strictly monitor and achieve monthly and annually collections targets.• Evaluate credit application requests in a timely manner and maintain the credit limit list.• Monitor and update the Account receivables on SAP.
