A small business I operate with my partner. We design and manufacture arange of handmade homewares and jewellery from our studio. Our products are sold atdesign markets (interstate and local) and at local boutiques throughout the year. At ROLLER I worked closely with project managers, customer support, frontend and backend developers, and our design team to enhance the user experience for ROLLER's core products; Venue Manager (CRM), Point of Sale, and Checkout widget. My time there taught me how to balance the objectives of the business with engineering constraints while advocating for better user experiences. I achieved this in the following ways;• Led efforts to build a design system for our CRM to improve coordination within the design team• Produce UX flows and designing user-oriented user interfaces for core features. Many of these contributed to securing the largest trampoline park operator in the world as a client• Led research initiatives to improve our Point of Sale app by identifying our client's largest pain points• Sharing ideas, constructive criticism, and knowledge to improve our processes and output

As the UX Designer at ShopFrontPro I was primarily focussed on the redesign of thisSaaS platform. My approach to our challenges was a holistic one, connecting the dotsbetween the bigger picture of what we envisioned into fine-tuned solutions throughresearch, user-testing and iteration. I streamlined the UI of the product into acomprehensive design system, redeveloped many of the core functions of the platformto improve their ease of use, and helped establish an overseas design team.

Designed and developed ecommerce templates for CS-Cart. I regularly liased withclients to manage projects. Provided ongoing customer support for clients helping withgeneral technical troubleshooting, guiding online store setup, and training.For four years I worked closely with out largest client, Harvey Norman primarily as a front-enddeveloper. This involved translating their designs into online stores for our ecommerceplatform, CS-Cart. A key challenge was the number of brands this needed to be appliedto; including Harvey Norman Ireland/New Zealand, Domayne Online, and SpaceFurniture. To meet this challenge I built a scalable framework and template that we could adaptfor each brand's visual identity.
