I produce high quality video that has helped businesses secure customers and brought passion projects to life. This job combines my passion for video technology with my affinity for visual storytelling.

I find, research, and write stories, and take photographs for The Centre’s local newspaper, covering people and affairs of North and West Melbourne in a quirky and lighthearted style. I’ve had pieces published on indigenous drag artists, longtime residents, plays, and art shows.

Wrote, produced, edited, and published explainer videos for a Facebook and YouTube channel. I produced content on politics, civics, economics, and science, including works commissioned by Celebrate Condoms and an affirmative action campaign by MOGA fashion label.

Managed tools and materials, liaising with suppliers to ensure the safe delivery and relocation of building materials. I assisted builders and subcontractors and was in charge of maintaining cleanliness around building sites.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered music for budding local bands at a home studio and various locations around Victoria, including for three months in Lennox House in Richmond, as well as Ocean Grove and Mornington.

Performed in the ninety-fifth percentile of a team conducting surveys over the phone. I gained an intimate knowledge of techniques and procedures used to communicate professionally while keeping people engaged. By developing practical skills in verbal persuasion I was able to contribute a large body of data to research projects for universities, emergency services, government organisations, media conglomerates, etc., including the IPSOS political poll.

As a senior member of staff and a veteran, I was a necessity to the running of the restaurant, making major and constant contributions to a demanding workplace internationally renowned for being devoted to procedure and quality. Using my ability to streamline operations and work with the greatest efficiency, I was able to perform above and beyond during some of the highest turnovers seen by any franchise in the state.

Designed and oversaw the implementation of a new procedure to digitise company records by a team of three. I integrated my knowledge of information technology and procedural insight. This system is still being used today, and has been very successful in achieving ease of access to decades of records, accounts, specifications, legislation, and information required by engineers and scientists at Vipac.

Volunteered twice a month at weekends during summer as part of team to patrol the popular Peninsula beach and keep its patrons safe; performing rescues, preventative actions, and first aid.Here I completed my Bronze Medallion in a team of approximately a hundred kids, moulding lifelong companionships through the mutual love of surf lifesaving. We learned first aid and workplace safety, public interfacing, and administrative duties.

Contributed to a team both behind the scenes and in direct line with many, and at times challenging, customers preparing food, taking orders, and assisting in the training of new staff.Here I completed my Certificate III in Retail Operations, including training in professional communication.

Assisted in the preparation and running of the annual Red Nose Day Remembering Service at St Michaels Uniting Church, as well as the day-to-day duties of the foundation. For this I received a lot of positive feedback from the staff. As my first insight into the intricacies and interdependence of a workforce, this was an extremely rewarding and educational experience.
