I passionately believe affordable housing and economic empowerment are keys to building security, community and wealth (not just helping lift people out of poverty but building generational wealth) for the poor, while also empowering women.I originated and end-to-end managed the successful placement of a $20 million impact bond issue in November 2019 for VisionFund (microfinance). I leveraged my 28-year career in global derivatives markets and experience gained whilst holding director level positions with companies like HSBC and Ord Westpac. In 2010 I changed from derivatives to development. I started in development by living and working in Cambodia and India in the microfinance sector. From 2016 to 2022 I worked in fundraising and innovative finance for World Vision, VisionFund and Opportunity International (microfinance).
