As IT Intern at ECS Group, I have been focused on improving internal security protocols and driving the migration of key knowledge systems across the organization. My responsibilities center around ensuring secure access to information while enhancing device security for employees.A major part of my role involves converting users to domain-joined accounts, ensuring strict access controls over devices to prevent unauthorized software installations or system modifications. This process enables real-time policy updates via the server, both in-office and through VPN connections, enhancing security and compliance across the Group.I’m also spearheading the migration of the company’s document repository from the existing SharePoint site to a new independent platform. This project is key to improving collaboration and knowledge sharing across various Group companies. I’m responsible for designing a visually dynamic and user-friendly SharePoint structure to simplify access to important documents like guidance notes, specifications, and standards.In addition, I’m developing a "Lessons Learned" library, integrating feedback mechanisms and digital signature tools to verify user acknowledgment and understanding of critical information. I’m also researching tools for tracking user engagement with alerts and lessons learned to ensure effective communication across the organization.As the project progresses, I continue to work closely with stakeholders to build and populate the new SharePoint site, ensuring all knowledge documentation is properly organized and transferred. This internship has allowed me to develop valuable skills in IT security, SharePoint design, and project management.
