I come from a long line of immigrants inmy family; from Yemen in the 1800’s to then colonial Indonesia and Singapore. Besides English,I speak Indonesian and Malay. After attending an American high school as an exchangestudent, I returned a few years later as a young wife and mother, intent on seizing everyopportunity America offers. I graduated college with a Public Relations and Marketing degreefrom Iona College and forged a public service career with the Westchester County governmentthat lasted over 25 years. In addition to my foray into real estate, I started my own cateringservice in my “spare time”. I launched a personal quest to travel the world while teachingEnglish, and currently serve as an adjunct faculty member for Westchester Community Collegewhere I teach English to immigrants.
