I currently serve as the Governor's Liaison Officer for Migori County Government, based at the Liaison office in Nairobi.Between 2019 and 2022, I served as the Director, Liaison Services for the County Government of Bungoma at the Council of Governors Secretariat. I served as the Principal Liaison Person for the Governor and the County Government of Bungoma at the Council of Governors. My work entailed providing a linkage between the County Government of Bungoma and other stakeholders and partners ranging from Government institutions, Private entities, donors, Regional Organizations as well as Regional Economic blocs. Among the successful partnerships that I worked with include; World Bank, UNFPA, UN Women, Kenya Climate Innovation Centre, UNDP, National Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MPesa Foundation, Affirmative Funds, Embassies, USAID, EU among others. My office was the primary coordinating point for all partnerships and MoUs for the County Government of Bungoma cutting across various entities.Prior to my appointment at the Council of Governors, I worked as a Project Coordinator for the Great Lakes Region, working in over 20 countries across Europe and the African continent, securing and managing grants by global institutions, as well as working in collaboration with local, national, regional, continental and international bodies including East African Community, International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), UN Office of the Special Envoy for the Great Lakes, European Union, UN office on Youth (UNOY) among others. My job entailed organizing Summit meetings for Heads of State of the African Union, ICGLR, and EAC, capacity building for regional and continental organizations, strategic interventions in conflict prone countries in the Great Lakes as well as proposal writing and resource mobilization.Prior to my appointment as Director Liaison Services in the Office of the Governor, I was working as the Country Coordinator for the Kenyan Chapter of the Regional Youth Forum Secretariat of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR).I hold a Masters Degree in Armed Conflict and Peace Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Makerere University in Uganda. I also hold various professional certifications from different Universities. I have a cumulative experience of 15 years, working with Government and Non-Governmental Organizations across the Globe.
