Wasim is the Founder of Loop and the Co-founder of Altooro. Expert in leadership, business, and building long-lasting initiatives. Passionate about building strong teams from scratch by investing in young people so they can unleash their hidden potential. As a business leader, Wasim managed 50+ global team members including employees, interns, and volunteers. Wasim's main interest is focusing on mission-driven tech companies and Initiatives that are built to last.In 2015, Wasim founded Loop, which is a Hi-Tech academy and a talent accelerator focusing on the next generations of tech entrepreneurs and software developers, Loop worked with 23,000+ participants and collaborated with Hi-Tech companies (Google, Meta, Microsoft, BlackRock, Amazon, and more) as well as partnering with universities like MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and more. Through Loop, Wasim scouted talents and invested in multiple individuals to become business partners and team members.In 2021, Wasim Co-founded Altooro, which is a seed-stage startup; an AI-based talent evaluation platform, designed for enterprises and growing startups, so they can better assess soft and hard skills. Altooro's engine allows companies to easily build a talent supply chain as a strategy. Altooro raised $2.5m and is supported by Google, Microsoft, AWS, the IIA, and more.Wasim received multiple global awards and lectured in numerous universities and business conferences worldwide, won grants from a collection of companies and organizations, speaking on social entrepreneurship and new concepts of tech-entrepreneurship. In addition, Wasim's inspiring personal story is taught to 500,000+ 9th graders at schools in Israel as part of the formal educational program by the Ministry of Education in Israel.In addition to holding a BSc in Computer Science and LLB in Law, Wasim is actively involved in several business and leadership programs; the MEPI students leaders program (2015 - Montana state university), he is an OYW ambassador (2016 - Canada), AMENDS fellow at Stanford University (2016), a fellow at the Global Entrepreneurship Summer (2016 - Silicon Valley, hosted by the white house) and OGS fellow (2018 - Brandies University) a fellow at ROPES (2019 - France) and a fellow at the USA pavilion @ Expo (2020 - Dubai). In 2022, Wasim was listed among the "40 under 40" promising young professionals by TheMarker, a leading news and opinion publication.
