South Gas Compression Pipeline project (SGCP)

Project: Replacement of Asbestos-Cement Potable water PipelineClient: MarafiqConsultant: ILF Consulting Engineers

Project: Sewage water pipeline at Naseem and Bani-Malik, Jeddah

• Raw material Inspection -Verifying certificates of the raw materials as per requirements and standards.• Daily fit up inspection and monitoring piping material parameters.• Verifying drawing revision status using at site, checking tools using are correct and working environment is set for doing fit up at site.• Inspection of piping construction activities as per ASME B31.3,B31.8• Line verification and visual inspection of plant piping and preparing punch list after installation.• Checking and preparing as built revision of isometric drawing and P&ID.• Coordinating with client inspection department at various stages of fabrication and getting approval.• Submitting the inspection requests to the client for various piping inspection accordance with the approved inspection and test plan.• Inspection of test packages according to the piping class, their test limits and required pressure.• Test package review and submission as per procedure.• Witness pressure testing activities.• Checking the vent and drain point location and number of pressure gauge to be used in test package system.• Day to Day planning and co-ordination of QA/QC activities• Preparation of QA/QC procedures and test plans• Conducting Third Party Tests & Co-ordination of testing activities• Co-ordination with client, Owner and subcontractors• Adhering to site Safety Procedures• Site inspection and respective documentation and control• Prepare detailed records and reports at all inspections conducted at the site and maintain the quality control documentation• Monitor Sub-contractors compliance with the site quality plan. Method of Statements, Risk assessment, Inspection and Test Plan and provision of quality documentation. • Knowledge in preparation of hydro test reports.• Assisting with clients for system walk through as per P&ID.

 Supervise the execution of day to day preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Ensure high quality operation, inspection and maintenance procedures Plans and supervises the execution of all major overhaul Maintenance works of column, heat exchangers and valves. Coordinate works and arrange meeting with charge head. Create the Safety awareness to the workers to avoid hazards and achieve zero injury and incidents free in site. Arranging hot work and cold work permission for maintenance.

 Provide technical advice and direction to large teams of maintenance personnel. Liaising with the client to ensure shutdowns are being executed correctly, and in accordance with the maintenance plans. Ensure all activities comply with safety policies and procedures. Continuously improving the shutdown process. Co-coordinating work crews.
