Abstract: Robust setting of Policies and Procedures, Protocols, Risk Mitigation strategies, Safety Management systems, Emergency Response plan, Standard operating procedures, Electro-magnetic Interference (EMI) mitigation strategies, Placement of Landing pads, JARUS SORA evaluation, assessing Micro weather climatic conditions, Deconflicting manned and unmanned aircrafts in Airspace using strategic/tactical approaches using UTM system provided by Astra UTM, and ensuring the alignment of the integration of all the stakeholders are in harmony (DCAA, GCAA, Dubai Police, MOD, DCD, DANS) and are on the same page.Leadership:•Pioneered the feasibility of highly automated, low altitude UTM systems managing both manned and unmanned aircraft movements – Collaboratively developed data interfaces and protocols to support the use cases – Incorporate operators and stakeholders in flight to nurture their development and showcase state of the artInnovation:• Established and validated system requirements for EAS management portal and UTM• Developed systemized procedures with Dubai police Drone box system which was deployed for surveillance. As part of the EAS team we were safely able to deconflict their systems with commercial RPAS operators• 3 use case packages (Surveillance, Photography and Drone delivery) and 2 formal Concepts of Operations were reviewed that defined the concept and laid the foundations for subsequent progress in the UTM domain in conjunction with Helicopter departure and arrival procedures at OMEX heliport• Maintained global competitiveness and domestic viability by innovation in technology and business models to manage the airspace operations• Risk based development operations were carried out over densely populated areas which was first of itskind in the world maintaining tight co-ordination with all the stakeholders• Extensive co-ordination with local municipalities were to be considered while deploying flights in their urban environment
