Initially volunteered for a research project, I was paired up with a recent graduate for a research project to work on a prototype of a Passive Upper Body Exoskeleton. In this project, I worked on the concept development, conceptual design, and a detailed design of the shoudler mechanism. Eventually the project ended with the leaving of my senior. However, I did complete my part nevertheless.Then I was paired up with a Master degree student to work on a computer vision AI to assist the rehabilition of patients with stroke at the request of personnel from the physical therapy department. In this project, I worked as the spokeperson of our project to communicate with the physical therapy department as well as a researcher. For the project, I am in charge of creating a Machine Learning model, training it, visualize the data for the physical therapist, and deploy the model for a small human trials on healthy individual. We later summarized our work and published a paper in IEEE Xplore.My next project is working on the control of a compact desktop arm rehabilitation device also for patients with stroke. Once again, I worked in a 2 people team. In this project, I mainly worked on the experiment design. I formulated the experiment method, designed the experimental setup, conducted the experiment, and analyzed the result. In the meanwhile, I also help double checked the work in the kinematice equation. We also published a paper on this project in IEEE Xplore.My current ongoing project is back to research on the Upper Body Exoskeleton. However, this time I also work as a project manager, leading a team of 4 students.

Artspect is an one off event that I founded with another co-fouder. It aims to organize a series of events, meditation & art workshops and an art competition, to remind people to slow down their lifestyle and focus on their own mental health.Together as the founders, my friend and I went through the full development cycle of the organization. We initially developed the core values we want to embrace, brainstorm the core idea, determined the organization structures, personally recruited the Vice Presidents, and continuously manage the product until the end of its cycle.Our private workshops attracted 50+ participants. Received more than 100 art submissions for the competition, and attracted 300 people for our art exhibition.
