"Made in the U.S.A" & #reshore, we all want it, talk about it, but how I can help?I have been actively looking for opportunities to bring manufacturing back to the US (#reshore) from a worldwide leading consumer products company for the past 7 years. There were successes but more roadblocks. Cost, capacity, and capability were the 3 major ones. During this process, I also gained a deep understanding of American manufacturers' challenges.With a passion of Enabling the US made, I joined Aubo Cobots. We will support my American manufacturer fellows to improve manpower utilization efficiency and improve product quality consistency, eventually achieving competitive cost, quality, and lead time. Only in this way, we gain more business, reinvest more into capability and capacity, and attract more people and funding to the US-made, one day, we will make America the worldwide manufacturing leader again!Aubo was started in 2010 and is the No.1 cobot solution provider in China market. We have the strongest R&D in this industry and we accumulated great industrial application knowledge from China. We will drive transferring that application knowledge we have, collaborate with my America manufacturing fellows, and customize solutions to really bring you the total value together, and eventually see YOU succeed!

Product development. Manage the budget & planning, and regulatory compliance. lead a team of 15 engineers in Mechanical, Electrical, and over 1000 people contract manufacturing base. Lead cross-functional teams in component shortage battle, tariff avoidance, process improvement, and product roadmap development.

Set Strategy & Vision and manage the China team. Set the budget for the China office. Accelerated product development, and streamlined the US and China Engineering team collaborations. Established simplified NPD/documentation process for ODM and light self-design product lines, avoided 2+ headcount. Restructured the China engineering team(40+ teammates) to remove the redundancy (removed 5 people) and improve efficiency.

Established SportDOG SBU(SportDOG is the leading brand in the electrical dog hunting/training segment) China team(6 teammates). Oversaw SBU operations in China, from product development to supplier management. Moved LuckyDOG operations from the US to China, and reduced 4 headcounts in US. Developed/Implemented 10+ dog training products.

The Project Manager for Dell Enterprise Storage Line New Product Introduction. As the bridge between the Dell HQ & Asia extended team. Led local extended project team and successfully introduced 30+ new enterprise products into Asia. A key member of Dell (China) New Plant set up team. In production 2 months earlier than original timeline.Designed and Implemented supply chain postponed customization for one high value storage products. It was my Business Process Improvement(Six Sigma) project and certified saving was $500MM+.

Oversee and Manage all SQA (Service Quality Assurance) team activities related to data analysis, E-Survey & Call-survey, issue escalation, and employee service. Improved customer survey satisfaction rate by 11%. Improved reporting accuracy by 8% and speed by 46%

Help customers resolve their technical challenges and deliver an outstanding customer experience.Analyze, Report, and Improve the technical support quality. Reduce repeat calls and repeat onsite support to deliver customer experience and reduce the service operational cost.
