Information Technology Manager
CurrentPRIMARY PURPOSE: To oversee the day-to-day activities of system administrators responsible for data center server management; to oversee quality reviews; to ensure project completion and user satisfaction; and to provide guidance and training to assigned team. Provide adherence to standards and systems configuration for colleagues responsible for managing critical infrastructure Windows based servers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESOversee teams responsible for the management of critical infrastructure components and systems.Interaction with business users, IT colleagues, project managers, program managers and IT programming staff.Supervisory oversight for the following functions:User administration (setup and maintaining account),Maintaining system,Quickly arrange repair for hardware in occasion of hardware failure,Monitor system performance,Install software,Create a backup and recovery policy,Update system as new version of OS and application software comes out,Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network,Documentation in of activities performed as part of Change management processesPassword and identity managementProvides guidance and training to team.Prepares status reports to department manager.Ensures successful completion of projects in conformance to project goals and requirements; ensures projects are in conformance with company policies and procedures.Ensures proactive and cooperative relationships exist within the project team; remains accessible to project team members.Keeps up-to-date with technology changes and direction.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESAdministers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
