Administrative Assistant for Site Support Area Manager after leaving the Module Assembly Building in October. I am constantly gaining more knowledge about construction and the nuclear field. It's great to be a part of the team at Vogtle 3 & 4. I am highly motivated to learn as much as possible while the oppurtunity has been presented to me.It's been beneficial for me to work with the craft and in the field because they have become a large part in helping advance my knowledge of construction. With having one of the largest areas on site which includes, Batch Plant, Rigging, Mechanics, Form Yard, Scaffold Carpenters, Operators, and Tool Rooms just to name a few, I have dedicated myself to be as hands on as I can in each specific area. I'm thankful to have a Manager who encourages my learning and allows me the chance to take on different roles with our craft. I have been included in developing a new training practical for riggers and flaggers, all incidents that occur with Site Support, and also ensuring safety with our department. I also support the Tools & Equipment Site Manager. With holding this position I am learning about each piece of equipment we have on site. I have gained knowledge of how each piece is ran and what it takes to operate it. This included all cranes, forklifts, trucks, and train. We have one of the world's largest cranes on site.
