FluidForm is a Carnegie Mellon University spin-out focused on enabling the building of human tissue for research, repair, and replacement. Our proprietary portfolio of 3D bioprinting technology enables us to build a portfolio of products across multiple organ systems, starting with the heart. The company’s technology is the most cited bioprinting technique in the world, including a landmark paper published in the journal Science in 2019, demonstrating the printing of working components of the human heart. FluidForm is advancing its technology to enable the creation of tissue for repair and replacement, a $1 trillion opportunity.

Following the sale of my business in Dec. 2022, I helped transition to new ownership and then took a 6+ month sabbatical to recharge, pursue personal goals, spend more time with family and friends and prepare for the next phase of my career. I was lucky to be able to travel frequently and reconnect with those who matter most.

Led strategy and corporate development for 850 person educational content and services company. Built function in new role, developing M&A strategy for a newly formed business. Completed five acquisition in just over 18 months.Ascend Learning is a leading provider of technology-based educational, curriculum and assessment solutions for healthcare and other vocational industries.

Led all strategy and financial planning for growth-stage venture-backed energy company. Primary finance resource supporting a targeted $200MM+ Series D round and associated project joint venture negotiations.GreatPoint Energy is the leading developer of a proprietary, highly-efficient catalytic process, known as hydromethanation, by which coal, petroleum coke and biomass are converted directly into low-cost, clean, pipeline-quality natural gas, while allowing for the capture and sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2).
