Claims Supervisor
Current- Promoted or transferred three times in five years to lead teams of adjusters handling low-severity claims across casualty, auto, and homeowner business lines. - Train, coach, and mentor personnel in investigation, medical terminology, negotiation, customer service, and case strategy. Identify strengths, improvement areas, and growth opportunities in quarterly reviews.- Collaborate with Branch Manager to determine strategies, apply best practices, and manage clients’ expectations for complex issues and new policies.- Ensure technical accuracy and appropriate usage of Request for Authority (RFA); grant approval to support adjusters in processing and disbursing timely payments.- Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors and attorneys; negotiate repair estimates and pricing on behalf of insured members.- Partnered with Dallas branch to re-distribute staff responsibilities among branches and improve workload manageability; created internal assignment system to determine outsourcing viability.
