• Co-instructed a 2-day school-wide Introduction to Python Workshop to ~60 attendees• Mentored 2 groups for their semester-long data analytics projects as part of the Data Associate Programme, involving data visualisation and sentiment analysis

• Worked in pair for a project on detecting puns, exploring Natural Learning Processing (NLP) libraries such as nltk, gensim, GloVe, WordNet, as well as Soundex libraries.• Weekly chapter learning from Introduction to Statistical Learning: with Applications in R book

MPA Global Internship Award (Silicon Valley) 2020• Trained word embedding models (Word2Vec & GloVe) and feature extraction algorithms (BagOfWords, TF-IDF) on report corpuses to understand important word associations for further analysis• Devised algorithm to reduce time complexity of update query in NoSQL Amazon DynamoDB for geospatial location classifier on vessel pings by ~30 times• Produced optimised scripts that return real-time analysis of key information displayed on Alpha Ori’s flagship product SMARTShip, using 100+ million rows of data in Amazon DynamoDB• Implemented code to perform survival analysis using CoxPH and Kaplan-Meier survival regression to optimise component repair frequency and reduce vessels' long-term maintenance costs

• Explored representation learning for multiple types of entities in a co-ordered network using deep learning with hierarchical order-embedding and knowledge graphs in Python and PyTorch• Created an enhanced hybrid deep learning model by combining models from two research papers to predict association and order relations between different types of entities
