Working at the Department of Quality Assurance and Research and Development at Maliban Biscuit Manufactories (Pvt.) Ltd. was a huge opportunity for me to develop my technical skills in the field of Food Science and Technology. I had thorough hands on experience in chemical titrations, extractions, flour testing and NMR machine operations, sensory analysis, packing material analysis and microbiology testings. I was able to gather knowledge in raw material and finished products analysis, microbiology, GMP and pest control, research and development projects, packaging material analysis, export and legal compliances, quality systems management, customer handling services and process quality control. Internship at Maliban also influenced my passion for baked food products.

The biggest challenge for me was to adopt myself from a student to teacher just after my GCE A/Ls. Through the period of my appointment I’ve identified my quick learning and creativity capabilities. Being an English teacher at Esol College International gave me the opportunity in improving my language fluency, presentation skills and decision making skills.
