LN-100 Program: a versatile Inertial Navigation System/Global Positioning System. Piloted technical troubleshooting, engineering changes, and structural analysis using Solidworks, including first article inspection for the lead mechanical engineer during his leave of absence, ensuring the project timeliness, standards, and specifications. Devised and initiated design changes and analysis support for Northrop’s legacy program, including engineering drawing revisions and implementation of engineering standards to secure ongoing customer safety and satisfaction.EKV Program Authored, appraised, and executed test plans and procedures for design verification testing, manufacturing tests and qualifications operations, for the inertial measurement unit together with the lead systems test engineer resulting in a smooth flow of product deliveries. Amended, improved, and authenticated test procedures and orchestrated functional & signal measurements tests, data reduction, and analysis on several functional tests, including shock, vibration, 3-axis rate table, characteristic, and electronic bench testing.

Mars Science Laboratory Managed thermal flight hardware installation of descent and cruise stage subsystems, pressurant fuel lines, and flight propellant tanks, guaranteeing MSL’s secure voyage to Mars. Designated location of and directed the installation for platinum resistance thermometers and Kapton film heaters, including cable routing on the flight hardware. Presided over the timely and cost-effective weld schedule development used on the heat rejection system, which even now permits the survivability of the Curiosity Rover in Mars’ extreme environment.Venus Pressure Vessel (Research & Technical Development Project) Performed thermal analysis on a six-inch beryllium sphere in a leak-tight high pressure and high temperature environment, then planned, developed, and executed various thermal cycle tests to verify fabrication and design. Drafted project drawings, conducted thermal/structural analysis of the protective insulation for system electronics; procured protective transportation for the prototype in preparation for thermal cycle testing.Laser Interferometer Space Antenna Constructed and tested an electron beam target for the evaluation of the micro-Newton thruster: coordinating test lab activities, writing test plans, fabricating and machining parts, electrically wiring and soldering components, setting up a data acquisition system and vacuum chamber test assembly, documenting results, and analysis. Fabricated, tested, and qualified, an electron beam collector for a micro-Newton thruster for the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA), which measures thrust on ion propulsion engines while utilizing less fuel.
