I am currently the gender coordinator at the Small Arms Survey. I manage gender-specific projects fostering linkages between small arms control and the Women, Peace and Security agenda in national and international processes. On the international level, I focus on the Programme of Action on Small Arms and Light Weapons, the Arms Trade Treaty and the Open-ended Working Group on Conventional Ammunition. On the national level, I have most recently working in Burkina Faso as part of efforts to develop a national action plan on small arms, and with partners in Argentina on leveraging data to improve policies to prevent firearms-related gender-based violence. I also support gender mainstreaming of the Survey's work more broadly.
