From an early age, Mel Watson loved to create. Yes it was initially with butter and other substances too unsavoury to print - fortunately she has since graduated to more suitable mediums.Whilst studying english and history at university, Mel Watson did as all good arts students do: realised that her studies had only prepared her for burger flipping or becoming a teacher.Instead she got a job in marketing and there discovered the holy grail - graphic design.Working long days and studying long nights, she finally felt herself ready, setting off to the city for some work experience at an ad agency. On day two of said internship she was offered a full time job.Two years on she has survived hovering art directors, sleepless pitch nights and award show pandemonium. It’s time for the next leg of her journey.
