Responsible for design and development of vehicle body shell & trim components to meet performance, cost, quality and regulatory requirements.Managed global development programs liaising with affiliates and stakeholders in Japan, Thailand, China, Middle East, and USA and Australia.Led a project studying 55 automotive suppliers to identify and prioritize key risks to TMCA production supply chain. Developed risk management plans for high risk components which allowed quick evaluation and re-sourcing action to be taken when two key tier 1 suppliers and a major resin material supplier pulled out of the Australian automotive market affecting 137 components. As a result we were able to successfully avoid any production down time due to these closures.Experience negotiating with the Australian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) and other government regulatory bodies to ensure new vehicles meet all technical requirements for sale in the Australian and other global markets.
