Helen is the Executive Director at Student Energy, the world's largest youth-led organization mobilizing 50,000 young people for a just, sustainable and equitable energy transition. She oversees the organization's Theory of Change delivery through Student Energy's ten educational and skills-based programs, and leads the organizations global strategy supported by partners and stakeholders in the energy transition space.With almost a decade of experience as a young leader, Helen has worked on issues ranging from the global energy transition, to safe & dignified human migration, to the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. She has attended five UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COPs), raised funds for and developed over ten youth delegations to global conferences, and supported the success of International Student Energy Summits (SES) spanning three continents. Helen is an experienced and internationally recognized youth leader, public speaker, and fundraiser.Helen has been listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 (2021), recognized as a Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders by Corporate Knights (2022), and was named one of Canada's Top 25 Environmentalists Under 25 in 2018.
