General Manager for Software Defined Network(SDN) switching products and solutions. This includesP&L ownership, Engineering deliverables, Strategy & Marketing, Business Development.The major programs coming from my team include the Open Network Server Platform which was announced by Intel at the ONS summit in San Jose in 2013. This is a new data center top of rack and server based switching product going into major large and medium scale data centers. SDN is being looked at by all the major data center companies globally as they address the challenge of dealing with the ever increasing size and complexity of data centers and working with more and more virtual workloads that require rapid connectivity and enhanced security.My team is currently expanding our portfolio into the virtual based switching products to support the services and appliances being supported on virtual machines in the data center. The next evolution of products is then to combine both our physical switching solutions with our virtual switching products into Hybrid switching products that can support complex applications including Network Function Virtulization(NFV) workloads. These new platforms will begin to deliver to the wider market in 2014 from todays Proof of Concepts and trials which my team is responsible for delivering.

Business size was over $20 Mill per annum and including developing Android based solutions for Tablets, Mobiles and adjacent market segments.Built and delievered a next generation android based desktop solution for a major US based OEM company.Worked on Industrial safety certification products. Achieved an award of recognition from the China State Rail company for work carried out on the certification of there next generation rail network for eastern China.Ran teams in India, China, South Korea, South East Asia and Taiwan to deliver complex solutions based upon Wind River products.Drove service sales up 150% inside 18 months
