Supplier Management
Current-Individual contributor: Self-motivated and work independently with suppliers.-NPI Project management: To act as a role of a project manager to meet the cost, quality and delivery of a new product. Running the process of Design for Manufacturing and Design For Assembly before opening the tooling.-Product quality engineer: Work with suppliers diverse engineers from different functional departments to evaluate the NPR(new product requirement) and draft EVT(engineering verification test), DVT(design verification test) and PVT(process verification test) , then get back to headquarter in USA to review. Set up and evolve the product specification with both supplier and headquarter, to facilitate the communication between team in USA and suppliers.-Process quality engineer: Setting up mechanism with supplier’s quality team after the product entrancing the MP phase with kinds of quality tools from IQC to OQC. -CTQ(critical to quality) analysis for new product R&D and improving quality on design: With key suppliers to collect end user comments from websites, then analysis the information with tree diagram. -Training to suppliers:a: Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow training, a training of using brainstorm(Affinity Diagram) method for a team to think about features of a product/process with asking the questions of what the product and process like in five years ago/nowadays/three years later to initiate suppliers to take cost reduction or design improvement actions. b: Project management methodology training.c: 6 sigma green belt level knowledge series training which include Six Sigma Overview, What is standard deviation, Six Sigma project, SIPOC(supplier, input, process, output, customer) , Cost Of Poor Quality, Basic Statistical graphic, normal probability plot, basic knowledge of MSA and GR&R, Hypothesis testing, DOE and basic knowledge of SPC.-New supplier finding, CTPAT audit, quality system audit and production system audit.-Take part in some consumer electronics shows
