But for server I wrote applications on Erlang. If somebodypaid some money on terminal. Terminal sent information throw internet using protocolASN.1. Erlang server stored information in database "Mnesia" and return status of actionto terminal (OK - not OK). After server sent the information about payment to provider (ex. Vodafone). For sending payment to provider server used XML or SOAP. When all operationwere complete - server stored payment into PostgerSQL. It's common description of server work.Really for terminals and for each provider I wrote several servers on Erlang.
