I'm a creative person with technological coding background whose 12 years of IT services and programming gives me immediate insight into how to connect people with technology. And my people skills have been honed from my years of working directly with my customers and communicating with my co-workers and team members.Which leads me into the realm of production where I continue to grow as a QA Lead for independent game studio and publisher Phoenix Online Studios. In the time I've been in video game QA, I sincerely believe QA should have a voice in development. I've seen how spotting issues early on can save so much hassle. I've also experienced how some insight into the development process can inform better reporting content and even practices. And I continue to look for projects that would connect. For I believe in connection is where both games and gamers will next go. Whether it be only in online forums and social media or syncing multiple apps and platforms to one game. This integration of best of many worlds is what intrigues me. Do you have one I can explore with you? Let me know! Thanks for visiting!

Programmer AnalystKingston Technology Nov 1999 - Jun 2012Fountain Valley, Ca, UsProject manager and developer on various projects. Most recently, on a group of team-based projects in BPM.I would also mentor many of the newcomers to the department, introducing them into the basics of our group but leading them to discover and walk their own path.Applications I worked on would save my fellow co-workers hours of time per day in daily tasks from online sales report data analysis to scan analysis of product shipments to web application customer service like RMA.For many of my applications, I would design and apply clever uses of code and database queries to simplify maintenance and achieve quick feature swap.My strongest asset in these projects, however, is my ability to translate geek to common language.Part of my job is indeed to serve as a human interface between our fellow co-workers and the technology they need for the features they request.Keeping them informed and keeping in contact with updates and demos, and in turn get immediate feedback from my target consumer, I make sure my clients are satisfied with the products I deliver.I'm not just a coder. I code for people. I love the human side of my work. Keeps me grounded and reminds me of who I'm working for. :) -
VolunteerAsian Professional Exchange (Apex) May 2009 - May 2009Los Angeles, UsA volunteer coach for the annual Youth Oympics (APEX YO).Worked closely with a co-coach and bonded with the group of students on the team, leading the kids through a series of events to completion.Though rewarding in seeing the team work together under our guidance, I think earning an actual hug from a 13-year old boy was probably the biggest accomplishment and made all the work worthwhile.
