From a young age, I've been in an environment involving technology, engineering/innovation, medicine and so on. It's been my goal for many a year to excel beyond the norm and to achieve more than what a person may be expecting from me, which may be exemplified by my early enrollment in college and the rigorous classes I take to keep myself challenged but also knowledgeable on many subjects which interest me. Currently, I work for my parents due to a lack of job availability in the small area in which I currently reside. However, as opportunities open up to me and I'm able to take on more work whilst expanding my horizons, I desire to grow and test what I've learned in a real-life environment so as to better evaluate what I need to continue learning. In early 2019, I applied for West Shore Community College and was accepted via the ASM Tech program; early college opportunities. After having received my placement test scores, it was revealed that they were within the top 15% in the state out of multiple hundred applicants - many of whom have to take the placement test multiple times just to meet the minimum requirement. Despite being a high school student and in addition to already being accepted for college, I take college classes on the daily at West Shore which are open to Juniors and Seniors at my high school. I'm presently enrolled in IT/Networking and intend to find internships after West Shore allows me to do so after the turn of the year, or early 2020. Additionally, for many years prior, I've worked in retail or customer service as well as with a team of people to complete a common goal - such as selling a product, troubleshooting and fixing issues we may be facing, or creating new or alternative strategies to properly retain efficiency within the workplace.
