Started programming because I was bored. Now it has became my passion!Ever since I was little, I was always a tinkerer. I would observe the most random of things and then asked myself: How does it work? Because of that mentality, it doesn't come as a surprise when I decided to join my high school's robotics club. There's no shortage of tinkering with robots there! As time goes by however, I got bored of being a builder since I wasn't doing anything exciting. To change this, I decided to become the programmer instead. Just like that, a whole new world was introduced to me. It was a struggle at first, but after that initial phase of learning RobotC and basic programming concepts, I got the robot that my team built to move and do things all by itself! I was so happy knowing that just some lines on the screen translates to something so impactful. I loved it so much, it is now my college major and my career choice!The tinkering spirit in me then venture off to other languages. This includes but is not limited to: C, C++, Java, C#, HTML, CSS, Python, SQL and Javascript, It also landed me an internship at EduSource in which I made an impact for end users by contributing to meaningful software such as a Transcript Parser. I also learned all new concepts and skills such as design patterns like Event Sourcing, layered architecture patterns like MVVM, source control using Git, building APIs, GraphQ:, manipulating a database using a DBMS, and various JavaScript frameworks like React.js and Vue.js.
