Promoted to an Operational and Sales hybrid role. Key is Portland's premiere tent manufacturing and rental company. As the Operations Manager I was responsible for: - Supporting 40+ employees over two facilities. - All aspects of recruiting, mentoring, and retention. - Streamlining multiple business practices to ensure equipment and employees were being utilized efficiently, increasing profitability. - Editing the company SOP Handbook and introducing new policies and procedures to increase accountability and strengthen professional frameworks.- Managing multiple internal projects simultaneously, developing budgets, sourcing materials, and executing delivery.

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Springboard is a Social Services provider managing residential placements for at risk children on Child Protection Orders under government care. Key responsibilities included:- Participating in meetings with vested stakeholders, including Young Person, Child Services, Education Department, Law Enforcement, and Mental Health to analyze and assess Case Plans and modify them in order to increase positive outcomes for the Young Person.- Providing supervision and support to between 15 and 30 youth workers.- Writing the organizations SOP Handbook, based on compliance with State regulatory frameworks and organizational philosophy.- Utilizing behavior management and crisis intervention strategies in order to de-escalate clients and situations.- Build community and business relationships to provide opportunities for at risk youth to positively engage in educational and recreational activities.
