Holford Gas Storage Project (EON Ruhrgas)In addition to usual procurement activities, I was brought on to offer support to the Project Procurement Manager taking on responsibility for arranging and chairing Project Kick Off Meetings and Pre-Inspection Production Meetings with vendors, issue of minutes and close out of actions. Set up of Bond and Warranty Registers, expediting of various warranties and bonds. Set up and management of Project Claims Register. Liaising with engineering to ensure timely issue of purchase requisitions following issue of Letters of Intent to successful vendors. Development of man hour estimate tool to assist with calculation of procurement hours as part of claims upstream to Client/downstream to vendors.

Project Procurement Manager – Ensus Bio-Ethanol ProjectResponsibilitiesOverseeing all procurement, expediting and inspection activities on £200m Bioethanol Project at Teesside, the largest project of its type carried out within Europe. Develop overall procurement execution strategy ensuring project objectives met within parameters of parent organisation. Overall management of team of procurement, expediting, inspection and QC staff. Responsible for liaison with Client on procurement issues relating to insurances, spares, maintenance agreements. Also carried out a review of overall company procedures within procurement function, developing series of workflows and checklists and recommendations for improvements within company systems.

Provide support to users on project environment. Re-draft of procurement, expediting and inspection procedures to reflects changes in working practises following roll-out. Development of integration with Costain Group Peoplesoft Accounting software.

2003/4- ECAPS – BG Hydrocarbon Resources Procurement Co-ordinator.Engineering, Construction and Project Support Term Services contract, Morecambe Bay worth approximately £100m over 7 year period. Developed procurement strategy for both tender and contract for joint venture company Costain Petrofac Ltd (CPL). Co-ordination of onshore/offshore procurement activities including development of supply agreements covering a range of activities from supply of personal protection equipment to fabrication services. Development of supply chain activities for stand alone joint venture whilst trying also to include, as applicable, Costain Group, COGAP, Petrofac and HRL to include overall buying power. Responsibility for formulation of joint venture procurement procedures. After contract award responsible for review of Client procedures/workflows and pushing through changes to incorporate CPL procedures or amending CPL as applicable. Formulated Procurement Administration Instructions for use on the project. Use of Clients SAP procurement system for order placement.2001-4 Systems Migration ProjectInvolved in Costain Group and COGAP review of procurement systems to identify and evaluate alternative procurement/supply chain software to replace current COGAP COMPROC system. 2002 - CO Production Plant – SnamprogettiProcurement Co-ordinator. Design and supply of coldbox package to Bandar Iman, Iran.2001 - Cambridge Compression Facility & Nether Kellet Compression Facility– TranscoProcurement Co-ordinator. Took over project due to personnel shortage. Responsible for close out of claims and warranty issues associated with upgrade of existing compression facility.Ethylene Systems Modifications & Nitrogen Removal Unit at Partington – Transco LNG StorageProcurement Co-ordinator. Modifications to LNG Storage Unit at Partington, completed on time and within budget.

2000 - CNC Ammonia Plant – Ferrostaal AGProcurement Co-ordinator.12 month programme for completed ahead of schedule and within budget.Upgrade of Gas Compression Facilities at Churchover and Alrewas – Transco LtdPosition of Procurement Co-ordinator. Responsible for the control and co-ordination of £13m spend. Achieved material costs underspend in excess of £500k for project.1999 - Provision of Black Start Facility - Enron Power Operations LtdPosition of Procurement Co-ordinator. Project completed ahead of schedule and within budget.1998 - Replacement/New Compressor Sets - Kuwait Oil CompanyPosition of Procurement Co-ordinator. Duties included supervision of buyers in placement of purchase order, control of budget allowance and preparation of order and enquiry status reports for Client, Joint Venture Partner and Company Directors. Responsible for overseeing total project spend of £8 million. 1997 - Dukhan Upgrade Project - Qatar General Petroleum CorporationPreparation of enquiries and placement of orders associated with upgrade in facilities of existing Oil and Gas Recovery Plant. Development of Approved Vendor List for pre-stated Vendor packages.

• Overall responsibility for procurement on major projects, coordinating supply chain activities and overseeing placement and management of sub-contracts and purchase orders. • Ensure procurement activities are carried out in accordance with corporate governances whilst obtaining value for money and ensuring projects completed within necessary programme restraints.
