Manager, Fair Employment Pracitces And Diversity
Responsible for providing guidance and consultation to Corporate Officers, managers, and human resource generalists regarding Company policy and state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to, EEO and Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA. • Prepare and defend System Board grievance hearings on behalf of the Company. • Draft post-hearing briefs for Labor Board grievance arbitrations. • Manage and conduct internal investigations involving allegations of Company policy violations. • Provide guidance regarding consistent application of Company policy and discipline. • Develop and conduct training regarding EEO, Company investigations, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), diversity and other fair employment practice training. • Prepare, implement, and monitor annual Affirmative Action Plans (AAP’s) including analysis of employment activity, compensation data, goals, and audits. Prepare responses to OFCCP compliance reviews data requests. Consult with OFCCP compliance officers. Draft Conciliation Agreements with OFCCP.• Work with consultants regarding EEO-1 reports, VETS 100 reports, and AAP’s; work with HRIS/IT and Staffing to facilitate, establish, and operate Applicant Data Collection system for accurate data tracking; conduct research to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including but not limited to Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and other state and federal employment laws. • Research and analyze options regarding the development and implementation of diversity initiatives including training, recruitment, retention and succession planning; draft, edit, and revise letters and investigative reports; assist legal counsel with EEOC charges and other related employment matters.
