• Financial accounting and reporting for all the Group Pension Schemes• Manage audit relationship including approval of audit plans, engagement, fees, audit report, and resolution of Trustees Report and Financial Statements• Manage the completion of tax and regulatory returns• Manage relationships with outsourced financial arrangements, including regular reviews of service/performance• Control the costs of all Group Schemes and prepare regular reports• Provide financial support, information and analysis, regarding the investments, for Trustees, including monitoring compliance with the Statement of Investment Principles, ongoing due diligence of investment manager valuations• Work closely with the Trustees to manage and control the implementation of any investment decisions, including instructing investment managers and custodians in the event of asset transfers• Monitor investment managers, custodians and other external service providers, including fee and terms negotiations, appointments, regular reviews of service/performance against objectives and termination and prepare reports to the agreed Investment Committees, working groups and/or Trustee Boards.• Liaise with investment managers, across complex investment classes to ensure compliance with mandates, understanding of their processes, and valuation techniques.
