Oversee Accolades national packaging services encompassing the Materials Planning department, work order management, and Contract Packaging departments.

Oversee national contract packaging operations, including fill label pack of all premium brands, traditional method sparkling wines, external rework operations and general packaging processes.Develop and maintain strong relationships with contract packaging partners, negotiating and operating within contracted agreements, and managing service level agreements.Monitor and evaluate the performance of packaging partners, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards.Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee product integrity, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless integration of packaging processes with overall operations.Coordinate with Marketing and Sales departments to ensure packaging design and branding align with company guidelines and customer expectations.Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of contract packaging operations.Generate regular reports on packaging performance, highlighting trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and innovation within the contract packaging function.

Work with the Production Scheduler to create the optimum Production Schedule to meet Business KPI’sGenerate purchase orders for required dry goods based on production plan, forecasts, service levels, lead times and stock on hand. Maintain delivery dates, and other order information as appropriate in JDE.Proactively support initiatives to reduce COGs. Analyse data in production systems and use information to manage / minimise inventory, identifying, communicating and reporting stock management issues as they arise.Develop and maintain run out plans, including effectivity dates in BOMs, to identify and resolve slow moving and obsolete stock items.Ensure goods and services are sourced using correct protocols and procedures that ensure a transparent and ethical process has been undertaken.Provide information to support the NPD Process and implement New Products to required timescales.Support procurement teams with evaluation and selection of new suppliers, monitoring performance of existing suppliers and resolving or escalating performance issues in a timely manner.Implement and maintain compliance with the food safety and quality management system by reporting food safety hazards and quality problems as they arise. Support and maintain compliance with the TWE HSE Policy and take responsibility for solving and/or reporting workplace hazards.Cover department management and site scheduling requirements during Managers leave.

Supervise Palletiser and Swisslog automated storage and retrieval system operation.Oversee all receipting, labelling and storage of all incoming goods in accordance with company operating procedure and standardSupport and maintain compliance with all company HSE Policies and safe work practices.Support and maintain compliance with all BRC, FSQM and regulatory requirements.Lead investigations of all incidents / hazard management issues that occur in work area on shift in consultation with the appropriate Area Lead and assist in implementation and monitoring of corrective actions.Provide ongoing support coaching and counselling to assist team members to improve anyperformance or conduct issue as they arise in a timely and respectful manner Address all breaches and non-compliance with safety rules, SOPs, Company policy and procedure withindividual in accordance with coaching counselling and discipline procedures, report to FG/DG Lead andconsult with HR as required to determine appropriate action to implement
