About Wayne Batty

Experienced motoring writer and broadly skilled digital content creator with a passion for all cars from pre-war classics to the latest concepts. I'm currently thrilled to be working alongside the exceptional Hothouse Media team creating editorial magic as Magneto magazine's Deputy Editor. Previous roles include: Operations Coordinator for Porter Press International and Deputy Editor at TopCar magazine in South Africa, a leading automotive print title syndicated to CAR UK at the time.Over the years, I've contributed multiple opinion pieces for CAR magazine (South Africa), RoadTrip magazine and cardesignnews.com In 2017, I designed, edited and published a luxury motoring magazine titled Otto. I have a background in 3D conceptual product design and have modelled a few of my own car designs using SolidWorks 2007.
