 Develop and execute effective staff management and scheduling to ensure exceptional patient/customer flow and achieve production milestones while managing employee paid time off while mitigating staff shortages at all times.  Supervise a dynamic team of 30-35 professionals with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.  Perform annual evaluations with constructive feedback for personal and professional goal achievement with SMART goal attainment measures. Conduct interviews and provide support in the hiring process to onboard new staff members with orientation that provides inclusion and specific training to the employee’s job requirements.  Facilitate team development by initiating open-door, strategic, and effective communication policies. Assisted the Executive Director to obtain the distinction of Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence DICOE).  Direct and coordinate activities for outpatient Radiology Imaging Facility.  Organize and supervise staff in the operation of imaging equipment, policy and procedures, and protocols within X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Dexa and Mammography Departments.  Coordinate annual testing evaluations of equipment to ensure each imaging modality meets American College of Radiology requirements. Lead implementation of new systems to monitor and ensure safety of patients, staff, and regulatory requirements within required timelines while ensuring standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are used for staff proficiency.  Proficient in resolving escalated operational issues necessitating collaboration with multiple departments for positive outcome resolution.  Develop and implement plans, policies and procedures regarding operations and purchasing of Radiology supplies and equipment while managing departmental budget expectations.

 Facilitated positive care experiences for patients establishing rapport and applying interpersonal skills to reduce anxiety and promote cooperation.  Reviewed images for quality and completeness and verified that all images were transferred to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).  Responsible for patient care and producing quality images for the Radiologist.  Proficient in starting IV’s for the administration of intravenous contrast.  Prepared and administered oral contrast media and intravenous contrast within the scope of practice according to policy and procedure when ordered. Implemented safety standards and performed appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.  Diagnosed and resolved and equipment malfunctions promptly, ensuring smooth operations, or reported issues as required.

 Performed Computed Tomography imaging in outpatient, impatient and emergency department settings. Assisted the Radiologist with Computed Tomography and Fluoroscopy imaging during biopsy procedures.  Implemented safety standards and performed appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
