Cognit Corporation: I co-founded Cognit in 2007 to accomplish my personal mission of a life time of wellness for all by creating online programs that enhance and support addiction and mental health treatment and recovery. Cognit enhances the therapeutic experience and effectiveness through engaging online content, detailed client data and feedback. My duties include; partnership relations, needs assessment, model development, program research, clinical tool design and validation, infrastructure assessment. Regional health authority addiction and mental health systems integration planning committee.Credit Valley Hospital addiction and concurrent disorder BackgroundPrior to founding Cognit, I worked as an IT/Process Engineer consultant for over twenty five years with such companies as Merrill Lynch, Imperial Oil (Exxon), Olympia & York, Air Canada, Rogers Wireless, Toronto Transit Corporation and with the Ministries of Health, Transportation, Environment and Attorney General. I hold a Degree in Computer Science, a diploma in Business Administration and a Peer Support certificate.I testified in front of the Ontario Select Committee on Mental Health and Addictions and participated in focus groups with the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
