I truly enjoy working in the interagency to help make strategic decisions that have an impact here in the US but also on our relationships with allies and partners. I want to continue paying it forward in the next chapter and provide my political-military, and interagency expertise expertise to help shape our US and foreign policy for the future. I'm transitioning in the summer/fall 2022 and can't wait for the challenge and developing the solution....all while having fun and taking care of people!I've been really fortunate in life and I count my blessings every day! I really enjoy helping people succeed and I believe in taking care of people so they can take care of business. Work/life balance are not buzz words, they are the standard; and work should be fun. But what I love most is my Canadian born wife, and our Kuwaiti born Cat, and Turkish born Lab.Being a proud, third generation defender of our nation has been the most rewarding experience of my life. My grandfather died on the way to the Battle of the Bulge and having the opportunity to visit his grave in Luxembourg is something I'll never forget. My dad also spent 29 years in the Air Force and I'm proud to have been a BRAT, enlisted, cadet, and officer. Regardless of rank, I've always been the same person. I bet there aren't many people who could say they have never had a bad boss. I can say that and I've tried to pay it forward. I've had great opportunities to be stationed overseas three times, fly in combat, work in a US Embassy, and help command Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. I've also spent 11 years off and on in The Pentagon and have enjoyed walking into the "building" every single day to help solve strategic and operational challenges. I was fortunate to work for the Air Force Inspector General, Air Force operational and joint requirements, the Joint Staff/J5, and SAF/IA. All of these experiences have made me who I am to be the best servant leader I can be.
